starting gbib produces segmentation fault in breezy

Bug Description

After installing gbib through synaptic on a working breezy system, the terminal produced the following:

  user@breezy:~$ gbib &
  [1] 7763
  user@breezy:~$
  [1]+ Segmentation fault gbib
  user@breezy:~$
</bash>

The system is up-to-date, says the Update Manager.
