Bug Description

When I print an A4 PDF, each page is printed with an 8mm margin top, right, and left, but with a 12mm margin at the bottom. As a result, 4mm of text etc keeps getting chopped off.

I am running hplip v2.8.7 under Fedora 10.

hp-check doesn't not appear to be installed on my system; where do I find it?

Merging with what appears to be the same problem.

I can't print PDF's that have content near the margins.

I can't print tri-fold flyers, for example, or anything
double-sided that is supposed to line up on each side for a
fold.

It makes printing unusable, or mostly so. I am not aware of
PDF utilities or print settings to adjust the margins on the
fly.

In portrait, content is 4mm too low.

In landscape, content is 5mm to the left.

Mark

Package: hplip
Version: 3.10.5-3.2
Severity: normal

I have a DeskJet D2660.

In portrait, content is 4mm too low.

In landscape, content is 5mm to the left.

This makes printing "mostly unusuable."
