Bug Description

Hi, I am using kontact including kmail on top of ubuntu. After recent updates, it seems that kontact / kmail starts in "full screen mode". However, I have found no way to get out of this full screen mode. Neither F11 nor ESC seems to work. It may be no real "full screen mode" feature but a bug that makes kontact appear without the outer window frame filling the whole screen.

It appears that the problem is related to the way kontact recognizes the resolution of the screen. After playing with dual head mode, the problem temporarily went away, but has now reappeared independent of the use of single or dual head mode, laptop being or not being connected to an additional screen.

The version of ubuntu is 8.10, Gnome 2.24.1
