Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

OpenOffice.org 3.0 seems to have this home screen that shows up when nothing is open. The text is badly laid out and spills out the bottom of the window. See screenshot.

Using openoffice.org 1:3.0.1-1ubuntu2 on Ubuntu 9.04.

What do you mean by high font resolution? Do you mean your system has a high DPI?

Yes, go to gnome font properties and increase the resolution from its default value of 96 DPI.

What is your DPI set to mine is 125 dpi and it looks fine.

It's set to 147. Also, I just tried it and this bug is showing up on a guest session (fresh profile).
