Bug Description

Binary package hint: mythtv

Mythbuntu daily disks for Jaunty are showing a popup of mythtv-reconfigure-required. This is because when the livefs is generated, a mysql server is not contactable, so mythtv-reconfigure-required is placed in /var/lib/update-notifier.

There are two possible solutions:

1) Make sure *not* to populate this file when creating a live disk
2) Clean up the file when reconfigured and a server is contacted.

The first solution is more preferable, but more difficult to develop too.

mythtv (0.21.0+fixes19961-0ubuntu3) jaunty; urgency=low

  * Don't display an update-notifier message about failing to reconfigure
database. This doesn't get along well with live disks. (LP: 334547)
