Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

Hello,

I have just brought an "Eagles" DVD and I cannot read it because I cannot select sound output type (DTS, Dolby or PCM stereo)
The selection must be done by clicking on corresponding setting (see attached screenshot) but clicking has no effect. So there is no way to play that DVD with Ubuntu default Movie player (Totem)

Note that VLC can do it!

Reproducible? Yes every time I try to read my Eagles DVD (hell freezes over). As a cannot choose audio settings, it is just impossible to play it. That DVD won't play if I don"t first select audio settings at the very beginning.

The steps? Put the DVD in CDROM, play it in totem, the first screen ask to select audio setting witch is not working. So no way to go further.

I use an up2date Intrepid 64bit.

Regards.

could you try if that's still an issue in jaunty? if that's the case somebody having an example to trigger the issue should open the bug on http://bugzilla.gnome.org where the software writters will read it too
