[jaunty] python-gobject-dbg update problem

please could you try to remove python-gobject-dbg, then reinstall it?

I got the same error when trying to remove it. If y add "--force-overwrite", dpkg complains saying:

dpkg: error processing python-gobject-dbg (--remove):
 Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should
 reinstall it before attempting a removal.

I don't know what to do.

I've removed the "prerm" script for python-gobject-dbg on /var/lib/dpkg/info and the problem is fixed.
