Bug Description

Binary package hint: mpd

After playing tracks but currently stopped Powertop is reporting ~166 wake ups (i'm not sure over what time period, the default is 10 seconds but if I manually refresh sooner than that the number is higher still).

This could add up to be a major drain on battery life!

What further information is needed?

Although this doesn't seem to be a problem after an upgrade to Jaunty.

I'll monitor the situation.

This appears to be fixed in Jaunty, should it be marked invalid/fix released etc? What's the protocol here?

Generally, it should be marked FixReleased if you find a reference in the upstream-changelog or NEWS file explicitly stating that the issue was adressed. Otherwise, Invalid is appropriate, since it could be a race-condition or any other configuration change that resolved this issue. Thanks for keeping us updated.

Changed in mpd (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid
