Bug Description

I can use my cheap Encore ENLWI-G2 wireless card on Hardy via ndis-wrapper with no problems but when I try booting the most recent Jaunty Alpha 4 Live CD it kernel panics right about the time when GDM is loading. This does not happen if the card is removed. I'm fairly certain it is a kernel panic because when I unplug a USB laser mouse and plug it back in, the mouse does not stay lit up (the kernel didn't do something it was supposed to?)

I've been able to reproduce this on two Pentium 4 machines.

Let me know if there is anything you need me to test I want to help make sure this gets fixed in time for the Final!

so did i put this in the wrong place or is it just not a high priority?

it worked before so i'm thinking just add this to a blacklist? shouldn't be too hard...

ok i guess this fell through the cracks on jaunty...

i'd really like to be able to use my wireless card again so i'm hoping someone looks into this this time?

let me know if there is anything i can do to help. what would be a good package to select as being affected?
