Bug Description

Jaunty 9.04 Development Branch

I was hoping to turn on Visual Effects but was not able to at all.

Desktop Effects won't enable despite it working in previous distributions of Ubuntu. Really need better support for ATI cards.

You were experiencing this problem with a development release of Ubuntu.
Are you still using Jaunty? Can you test it with the stable release?
