UVF exception request

illuminator needs an exception from UVF to sync the latest version from debian. The illuminator source package has unmet build dependencies. illuminator-demo can't be rebuilt to satisfy unmet dependencies.

The UVF exception request for petsc (https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/petsc/+bug/33619) needs to be approved for the latest version of illuminator to build.

Is there an upstream changelog? Something like ./ChangeLog - debian/changelog is a bit sparse on information. According to the diffstat the changes are not pretty big, but still it'd be nice to know *what* was changed. Thanks for all the other information.

I looked through the package again and the only changelog I see is the one in the debian directory. The package maintainer is also the author of the software, so the debian changelog is probably the best source.

hmm... on the homepage there is no changelog too... but as this fixes a unmet dependency (and a FTBFS of the current version according to you?), there are no rdepends and the changes are not too large we should consider updating it... fine with me
