No sound in Ubuntu 8.10

Bug Description

Hello! I am sorry for my English, I Russian. I have a problem with my laptop http://info.roverbook.ru/site/roverbook/homen.nsf/techspecs/NB000253, no sound. Now I'm using Ubuntu 8.10. In alsamixer, I raised the volume to 100% but no effect on, silence.Please help solve this problem.
