Bug Description

seems like another problem with huge fonts in jaunty.

My main system is fine (actually I think the display of fonts has improved a bit, being even crisper now than they were in hardy). But when I use xephyr to "Login to a new window", font sizes are off by a large margin. This is a regression from hardy. The "Screen resolution" applet (gnome-display-properties) inside xephyr will tell me that the monitor resolution cannot be determined, so I guess this is another one of "those types of problems" with xorg in Jaunty.

Somebody please verify.

Hi r0lf,

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn`, and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log (and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this issue. If you've made any customizations to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.

gdm was forced to 96dpi again, so this should not be a problem anymore?
