Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace

System seems to be crashing in several places so this may be a problem with my configuration. I'm currently trying to get desktop effects to work on my system after a fresh install of KBuntu jaunty Alpha 4. Bug report has the various details regarding my ssytem configuration... hope it is helpful to someone.

The fix has been released to the development version of Kubuntu 9.10.
Backported packages of the KDE 4.3 beta will be made available for Kubuntu 9.04 users in the next few days. Stable KDE 4.2.4 packages will be made available to Kubuntu 9.04 when KDE 4.2.4 is released next month.
