Bug Description
When showing package properties in main window and the Synaptic window is small, the Versions tab is ugly - the note overlaps everything else on the tab.
Using Synaptic 0.62.1ubuntu10 on Ubuntu 8.10 x64.
Steps to reproduce:
1. open Synaptic
2. go to Settings -> Preferences
3. check "Show package properties on main window"
4. select a package
5. go to Versions tab of the package properties
6. reduce the dimensions of the Synaptic window
Expected result:
on the tab appears a vertical slider, or the note disappears
What happens:
the note sticks on the top of everything else on the tab, fixed on the bottom of the tab (see attached screenshot)
note: I am using an it-IT localized version of Synaptic, so menu names and commands could differ from the English ones.
