Linux 2.6.28-8-generic #24-Ubuntu SMP Wed Feb 18 20:36:18 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux
Having followed the jaunty development branch for some time, I notice that the speaker-volume feedback indicator has changed appearance and moved from bottom-center to top-right. However, almost all of the time the indicator comes up all-black. The same goes for the screen-brightness indicator. I can reproduce this on two laptop machines having different graphics cards.
