Status: Fix Released

Hey there - xinerama support was added as of 0.3.1.1 - which is available
for download at http://www.sf.net/projects/katapult/ - which can be
downloaded and compiled from source

I'll look at getting this into The net release for you - but it wont be possible to fix for dapper.

Could you provide more info regarding your dual-headed setup

And please assign katapult bugs to katapult-dev,not kubuntu-team

I can't replicate this bug on Edgy Beta. Is it still occurring in Dapper?

Martin, was the fix for this released into Edgy final?

Kenny, does it still happen to you?

the xinerama fix is in edgy, or at least it should be - whether Kenny's problem is fixed, I don't know...

I'd assume Kenny you're running a seperate X Session on the second head?

If it's still a problem for you (I can't replicate it w/ Twinview) please reopen this bug and continue discussion. Thanks for contributing to Kubuntu.

Erm, not sure if this idea will be useful or not, but here goes.

If it were to use KUniqueApplication (which comes with some unique command line options, including --nofork), maybe dual-head non-xinerama support would be possible. In the first display it will start normally, in the second you start it with the --nofork option (or you can start it from the first by specifying something like -display :0.1 along with --nofork).

Not sure how/if it will/would work, but it seems to work fine for yakuake.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
