oem-config does not use oem installation language

Hello,

I installed an oem ubuntu on an iMac G3 350MHz (yes, it still me :D). The oem-config is by default in english, even if the oem vendor choose to install in another language. This is very annoying for both enduser and vendor.

oem-config should use the default system language.

Could you test this with the current Dapper or an Edgy beta so we could see if this issue still exists

The wizard is still in english (and do not use the new GtkWizard), but the session language is the selected one.

I really don't understand why asking for language and keyboard layout. This is completely useless. There is a very old bug i reported since hoary that is still not fixed : on macintosh, Xorg is configure for pc105 keyboard with lv3 option. Obviously, Ubuntu do not care about that. That's a shame. That make me completely crazy.

Even if i modified the xorg.conf as oem user, the oem process overwrite with the same bug ... WTF !!?? Is that a joke ???? Seems that oem use must not change system config and just install extra package ???

That's even worse with latest build : the session is in english instead of french. :|
