wubi crashes on msi Wind

Bug Description

Wubi appears to fail trying to connect to download Ubuntu. It tries twice, the Wubi exits with a blank error message. I'm running Windows XP on a new Wind.

Do you have a proxy? You can try to download the ISO manually and put it in the same directory as wubi.exe.

Thanks. After trying to install Ubuntu on two laptops without success,
I've given up.
