Need to check notification daemon for actions capabilities

Since the new notification system landed, all popup messages show up as dialogs with [OK], [Cancel] Buttons.

I don't now how it works, but i guess it should kind of switch off user actions so that the notification daemon will show popups.

Thanks for your report. Please modify the bug title and description so that it describes what the actual problem is. I have just tested mail-notification on up-to-date Jaunty and the notifications seem fine to me. It may be useful to include a screenshot.

This doesn't look like a problem with the new notification system.

Please update the bug title and description. "these dialogs are annoying.." is not helpful at all. Please add basic information such as which version of Ubuntu you are using (Jaunty?), what desktop environment, window manager, version of mail-notification, etc. Thanks again.

Thanks for the update. Are you using Xubuntu? What do volume / brightness / other notifications look like?

Not sure if this is relevant to this bug or not, I get same message popups with the Mail Notifcation plugin enabled on evolution. Running ubuntu, metacity 1:2.25.144-0ubuntu1, evolution 2.25.91-0ubuntu2. Volume and brightness notifcations appear as they should (besides the missing icons related to another bug)

mail-notification needs to probe the notify system for "actions" capability and dont send any action if server doesnt support that.

use notify_get_server_caps function to get a GList* of capabilities.
