java plug-in causes firefox browser to crasy when running jmol applet

Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I am running a php application that writes some java script to control a jmol applet. And before my application is even done writing the data files, firefox crashes and writes the "pipe" error to the console. Sorry I cannot give you the full error message now (I'm submitting this report in firefox).

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Could you please try to obtain a backtrace by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MozillaTeam/Bugs? Also, please answer these questions:

Which flash package do you have installed?
Which Java package do you have installed?
Which Firefox extensions do you have installed?

Can you maybe attach the related scripts and the applet which cause the error? That makes it easier to debug the problem.
