Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
I am running a php application that writes some java script to control a jmol applet. And before my application is even done writing the data files, firefox crashes and writes the "pipe" error to the console. Sorry I cannot give you the full error message now (I'm submitting this report in firefox).

Which Firefox extensions do you have installed?
Can you maybe attach the related scripts and the applet which cause the error? That makes it easier to debug the problem.
