Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
Upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10 is impossible. The update-manager guesses, that there might be broken dependencies. The main.log tells me something about problems with the kubuntu-desktop package. I've tried to find informations about this problem in several kubuntu forums, without meaningfull success. What can I do to upgrade my System? Can I circumvent this problem by using apt-get directly instead of using the update-manager?
Thank you in advance
Stefan
Some further informations:
