Bug Description
fixed with 9.04
Binary package hint: gnome-network-admin or knetworkmanager
Lost(Friday's upgrade) my internet connection through my Ethernet connection.
I set the User Privilege for my account for a Connection to a Ethernet network(my not need that).
ifconfig command seems to work; but, Firefox still will not connect.
My Hardware is
duel i386 CPU ( Aspire One: acer )
Realtek RTL8102E PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller (rev 02)
Atheros AR5006EG 802.11 b/g Wireless PCI Express Adapter(rev 01)
system is set for 'Atheros 802.11 wireless LAN card'
It works with another LINUX.
Tried reinstalling the system; works till I upgrade; last time this day (Thur) with
started with an intrepid 8.10 Kernel Linux 2.6.27-7 to the new 2.6.27-11
