Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution-data-server

I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 Alpha 4 + updates as of 18 Feb 2009. I have configured a Google Apps calendar in Evolution as a caldav source. The good news it now works, as it didn't in previous versions of Evolution. Though it takes twenty to thirty seconds to see the appointments initially, I can see all of them. However, if I create a new appointment on that caldav calendar the UI locks and soon stops responding to the system. If I run both evolution-data-server-2.26 and evolution in a terminal window I see that e-d-s core dumps, but I don't know where it places the core file. Also I don't get a bug report dialog. I re-directed the output for each of these binaries to a text file and will attach both. Please let me know what else I can do to give good information.

Ok, Hopefully this is what you are looking for. Attaching gdb output for /usr/lib/evolution/evolution-data-server-2.26 and my ~/.xsession-errors file.

OK, further debugging is attached. One more observation: The appointment _is_ actually created, but it seems the UI never comes back. Evolution is still running and gdb tells me that e-d-s is still running. Anyway, let me know if I can give you anything further.
