evolution error while storing folder 'inbox'

Evolution 2.24.3-0ubuntu1
Ubuntu 8.10

Constantly receive "Error storing folder 'Inbox', Summary and folder mismatch even after a sync", followed by "Error fetching mail. Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync". Deleting index files fixed the problem for a few minutes then its back.

One pop mail account setup.
7 mail filters setup.
~3500 messages in Inbox for a size of 1gb.

Everything worked fine until the latest upgrade to Evolution 2.24.3 which alerted me that I needed to install sqllite because the new version needed that database app.

could you try deleting the folders.db which is localted on your ~/.evolution folder and see if that fixes the issue? this looks like a known issue.

I tried your suggestion. It appears to have resolved the issue. I'll
do more testing this weekend.

Nope, deleted the folders.db and the other index files. Thus far, no
other issues.

closing the bug now since that works now and somebody having the issue should open that to bugzilla.gnome.org, you can reopen if you get the issue again though
