Bug Description

Rational:

Needed to resolve Bug #315704

I have built, installed, and used this under Jaunty. Build logs are available in the comments.

Other packages that need to be synced as part of transition:

pigment (0.3.14-1) must be synced first (Bug #331159)

Debian Changes:

pigment-python (0.3.10-1) experimental; urgency=low

  * debian/rules:
    - Make sure examples are not compressed (closes: #497615).

I can confirm that pigment-python 0.3.9-1 builds in a jaunty pbuilder with pigment 0.3.13-1 in my local archive
