Klamav 0.44 incompatible with upcoming clamav 0.95 release

Bug Description

Binary package hint: klamav

Clamav 0.95 is expected to be released shortly and we would like to ship it with Jaunty. Klamav will not work with the new API in clamav 0.95. The package needs to be updated to compile and work correctly with the new libclamav.

KlamAV 0.46 will be compatible. Any idea when 0.95 is due for release?

I've been told an RC in a week or two and final in a few weeks after that.

It's a simple patch but not backwards compatible. I'll release 0.46 shortly after 0.95.

on second thoughts, it's easy to make it backwards compatible. so expect 0.46 soon enough.

KlamAV-0.46 is released. It is compatible with ClamAV 0.95.
