Bug Description

Binary package hint: mono

Mono's makecert utility isn't included in any mono package. This utility was present in gutsy but not present in hardy or intrepid. While it isn't frequently used, it is the documented way to generated ssl keys and certificates for use with Mono's ssl implementation.

This utility is a part of the mcs security tools, http://anonsvn.mono-project.com/viewvc/trunk/mcs/tools/security/

The executable is shipping now, in Jaunty, but there's no script to launch it from /usr/bin

This could well be a bug at the packager end, let me investigate...

Well, I am running raring and this is now working. Not sure when it was fixed.
$ dpkg -S /usr/bin/makecert
mono-devel: /usr/bin/makecert
