Bug Description

Ubuntu release: 8.10
Package version: 1.14-1
I was trying to install Quod Libet, but python-mutagen failed. The weird thing is, Synaptic says I have mutagen 1.14-1 installed. Then I ran quodlibet in the terminal and received this:

andrew@antle-desktop:~$ quodlibet
Supported formats: mp3, mp4, mpc, spc, trueaudio, wav, wavpack, wma, xiph
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/quodlibet", line 304, in <module>
    main()
  File "/usr/bin/quodlibet", line 33, in main
    library = load_library()
  File "/usr/bin/quodlibet", line 258, in load_library
    lib = library.init(const.LIBRARY)
  File "/usr/share/quodlibet/library/__init__.py", line 38, in init
    library.load(cache_fn, skip=formats.supported)
  File "/usr/share/quodlibet/library/_library.py", line 124, in load
    try: items = pickle.load(fileobj)
ImportError: No module named formats.mp3
andrew@antle-desktop:~$

I hope this is useful. Please let me know if I can do more to help.

Resolved.

I totally deleted everything having to do with mutagen, and also my ~/.quodlibet folder, and everything is up and running. Thanks.

This wasn't really a bug. I just had to purge mutagen and reinstall. Sorry for the mix-up. - Andrew
