I might not need that file actually. Your screenshots seem to suggest that Jockey fails to install the proprietary Nvidia driver, and your Xorg log shows that this is not installed. Could you please attach your /var/log/jockey.log and /var/log/jockey.log.1 files?

Hi, could you try installing the proprietary Nvidia driver by going to System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers, then restarting your machine and trying again. It seems that jockey fails to install the driver I think

This suggests a network error, possibly related to bug 313218. Could you please try with the latest version of glibc (2.9-0ubuntu12)

It should just come through the normal updates. What is the output of "apt-cache policy libc6"?

To run a command as administrator (user "root"), use "sudo <command>".

You're running quite an old version of libc6 (several versions old by the looks of it). Please try updating your system (at least update libc6 to 2.9-0ubuntu12) and trying again.

now i can enable it BUT jockey is failing, it freezes every time i try to enable compiz and i have to reboot my sytem, this happens every time i disable compiz and re-enable it, now i am working with karmic koala, and i get the same problem
