Bug Description

(Inkscape 0.46+devel, r20683, Feb 13 2009) on win32

After trying to follow some tutorials which give the colour values to use as #rrggbbaa, eg setting RGBA: to 980101 to make the colour
exactly what was used in a tutorial, you cannot easily enter in these colour values for gradient stops

steps to reproduce:

1) create shape
2) add gradient fill
3) select gradient stop
4) bring up fill and stroke dialogue
5) try changing the colour to eg. cc3377ff **By typing** them into the RGBA field (copy + paste works)

Result:
The colour auto- completes to a defined colour (eg c00000ff) after every keystroke

Expected result:
The RGBA field would not auto complete until after someone has stopped typing, just like entering a normal fill colour.
