Uninstalled font leaves unremovable package

Binary package hint: ttf-mathematica4.1

My uname-a reports: Linux rage 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Thu Jan 29 19:24:39 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

The package version is 4 (intrepid).

If you try to install the package, the download does not succeed because wget finds an index.html instead of the font executable (http://support.wolfram.com/mathematica/systems/windows/general/files/MathFonts_TrueType_41.exe).

The popup synaptic returns says:

E: ttf-mathematica4.1: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1

Whatsmore, since the installation fails, you are not able to remove the package, nor to reinstall it (unless the link gets fixed/changed to another one), nor to definitely avoid synaptic reminding you have the failing package.

Probably, the Mathematica fonts should now be downloaded - according to http://support.wolfram.com/technotes/latestfonts.en.html - from the following url: http://support.wolfram.com/technotes/MathematicaV7FontsLinux.tar.gz
