Bug Description
Binary package hint: qtparted
QtParted is unmaintained application, whose last stable release was in Nov 2005.
The package is unmaintained too, and in jaunty, there is a very nice and maintained remplacement called partitionmanager.
There are opened and confirmed bugs that it won't start now : https:/
Qtparted is potentially dangerous applications, so in that respect and for those reasons, it should probably be removed and blacklisted from the debian sync.

I was considering adopting the package in Debian. But given upstream's state, I reconsidered.
partitionmanager is a KDE app. For refernce sake, the Gnome equivalent is gparted which has been in Ubuntu for quite some time now.
