I'm using Hardy

I can reproduce this, but I'm not sure whether the problem is in zenity, glib or bash.

I don't know about glib but I don't see how it could be bash since the following works correctly:
echo aa{1..1999}$'\n' | cat

Is this still the case? According to upstream, this has been fixed (see the upstream bug report - why launchpad displais it has not been fixed is a mystery to me).

I am marking this as fixed released since it seems to have been fixed upstream and the relevant version is in Ubuntu archives.
