Bug Description

Binary package hint: xsane

Choose preferences>setup. All xsane windows close instantly, no error message, no effect on other applications running. Same thing happens when trying to set scan resolution in the main window.
 xsane 0.995-3ubuntu2 from the main ubuntu repository

Running 9.10. Same problem as reported above. Using EPSON 640U scanner if relevant.
