Bug Description

Binary package hint: libxrandr2

Hi,

xrander gets(guesses) wrong information from my panel. This results in 1440x900 on a panel which has a standard resolution 1680x1050. Apart from that it gets a wrong maximum resolution of 1600x1024 which can't be displayed. When using get-edid|parse-edid from the read-edid package I get the right values for resolution and frequency.
Let me know if you need any further information (I am using ubuntu Intrepid ), I will attach the output of read-edid and xrandr. I am not sure against which package I have to report this bug, but I guess you can forward it to the right place.

cheers,
Sebastian
