Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please answer these questions:

 * Is this reproducible?
 * If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?
 * Do you get the issue when printing to a file too?

 This will help us to find and resolve the problem.

Always reproducible

open evince (also tested firefox), choose print, choose a printer,
since print to file won't let you choose the page ordering, select 4
pages per sheet, select a different print order, choose print preview.

When you comment on an upstream bug which describe your issue could you mention it there?

Well, I don't think it's the same bug, that one is about the lack of a
page ordering dialog. I just commented to see if any other is having
my problem. I think a new bug should be opened

GEDIT: page ordering works (but the print preview is wrong, I will open a new bug)
FIREFOX: works (I was wrong before whan I said it did not work, I forgot that I printed to PDF and not to the real printer)
EOG: works

Can you suggest me other softwares to test, so that we can finally say that the problem is only in evince?
