python2.5 crashed with UnicodeDecodeError in <module>()

When clicking on a deb package to install it with Gdebi, this up to date Kubuntu Jaunty produces this crash.

This most likely has to do with the uncommon charater "ö" beign on the file path. Characters "ä" "ü" "õ" give the same result.
When installing a package with gdebi directly form homefolder, so there is now "special" charater on the file path everything works fine.
The crash is important though, because "Desktop" is "Töölaud" in estonian.
