Bug Description

3D is not working any more after an online system upgrade from Intrepid to Jaunty Alpha (February 11, 2009) on ThinkPad W500. GoogleEarth and fglrxinfo simply segfault. According to jockey-gtk, the proprietary fglrx driver should work. Unfortunately, the proprietary driver is the only one which allows suspend/resume on my ThinkPad W500.

On a newly installed Intrepid system, which has been immediately upgraded to Jaunty Alpha (February 11, 2009) without installing the proprietary fglrx driver before, jockey-kde does not find the proprietary fglrx driver to install. That is, the problem described is probably caused by using an out of date fglrx driver from Intrepid.
