I don't know each of these pachages inside out, but since we use Ubuntu 8.04 server (LTS) and Xubuntu 8.04 we have demand for updated packets. We run Xfce 4.4.2 right now as you may think. Please backport it.

Is this backport obsolete after the migration from *buntu 8.04 LTS to 10.04 LTS?

Xubuntu 8.04 has a three year lifespan, matching Ubuntu desktop 8.04. this should be valid until the end of that lifespan.

I do not have the powers to change this bug to WONT FIX state. Someone here at Launchpad either give that permission to me or mark it as such, please.

Marked this invalid so it should fall off in sixty days. Moved it off Hardy Backports as Hardy is EOL. Somebody in ~xubuntu-dev can mark it WONTFIX if they feel up to it otherwise it will agg off on its own.
