I can't. Valgrind slows down my computer to the point where Rhythmbox doesn't work any more. It can no longer begin any tracks, and goes through the entire list erroring out on each one. Anything else I can do?

could you try to valgrind anyway let it a while to start it just slow down things a lot

No, I can't.

As I said, when RB is running under Valgrind NONE of the tracks work. It goes through the list, and each one gets an error symbol before moving to the next one. Nothing ever starts playing.

could you open the bug on bugzilla.gnome.org then since you can trigger the issue and could reply to their question?

Another CD also crashes. I only have those 2 available.

I've forwarded it upstream.

A comment in the GNOME bug says it was fixed "a while ago." But I have this same bug in the latest rhythbox version in jaunty, svn20090209. Looks like another sync is in order if CDs are to play correctly in jaunty.
