Creating new applet :/usr/share/avant-window-navigator/applets/notification-area.desktop uid:1234174196

Does something bad actually happen? Like does the applet crash or something?

applet doesn't crash but i don't see nothing in systray: for example, opening pidgin, i don't see pidgin icon in systray

Does the standard gnome panel's notification area work? Also did you use the newly released 0.3.2 version?

the standard gnome panel's notification area works well but i removed it when i use notification-area appplet.
i'm using awn/awn-extras compiled from trunk

Please test with our latest packages in awn-testing PPA (or from lucid's universe repo).
