Bug Description
While Docky is great, I think window switching method is not friendly enough.
I think it would be great, if there would be another way to do this.
My proposition provided as use cases:
UC1:
1. User clicks* on launcher/window icon
2. Docky moves to another "view" where user can see multiple icons for an application (like for example 3 icons for Terminal)**
3. User clicks on icon and window is shown to the user.
UC2:
1. User hovers over launcher/window icon
2. Docky moves to another "view" where user can see multiple icons+descriptions for an application. Example:
(Terminal icon) Terminal user@domain:~/ (Terminal icon) Terminal user@domain:
3. User hovers over icon and window is shown to the user (normal focus on the window)
Additional comments: hover should be configurable.
Basically this view should work as window list, which would allow to utilise Compiz preview feature.

I am marking this as fix committed. We cant interop with compiz on this one so we cant do exactly what you want. However compiz CAN do that, so ask them. What we did do however was to make it so you could scroll icons to switch windows.
