Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

In previous releases, I was able to replace the system beep with a screen flash, and I know many people who did this as well, because otherwise using Ubuntu on a laptop in class or during speeches is a nightmare. It is good to be alerted, but sound is often a bad method.

This functionality used to be under "System -> Preferences -> Sound", but in my Jaunty Alpha 4 install, this is no longer available. The volume control applet does not contain equivalent functionality, and thus this should be considered a regression.
