Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

upgrade from 8.04LTS to 8.10 received an error "Could not install '/var/cache/apt/archives/irmp3_0.5.7pre2-1.2_amd64.det" will continue with install.

I'm sorry but those logs have been over written. I reformated and
installed 32bit 8.10 on this system.

Somebody could possibly test an upgrade from Hardy to Intrepid with the irmp3 package installed and see what happens.
