Bug Description
This problem affects Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 alpha 4/intel 945gm:
When I try to start an application/game in fullscreen mode or switch to fullscreen mode the apps start but I get no image. The games (tried Professor Fizzwizzle, wine/starcraft, supertuxkart, alien-arena) are running fine (sound is present), just the image is missing (monitor stays black).
There is no difference if I run the games in KDE 4.2 or from the plain xterm. In Ubuntu intrepid all these games work fine in fullscreen mode.
Any suggestions?

Thank you for reporting this bug and helping making ubuntu better. It is great that you got to try many games and that you eliminated the possibility that it is a KDE problem. Could you please upload the following information?
- /var/log/Xorg.0.log
- /etc/X11/xorg.conf if you made any changes to this
- the output of `lspci -vvnn`
Maybe you could try to experiment a little with options in the Device section of xorg.conf and see if it makes a difference. pression" "false"
Option "AccelMethod" "UXA"
Option "AccelMethod" "XAA"
Option "Tiling" "false"
Option "FramebufferCom
are things you could try.
