ubuntu8.10 install : floppy unit not found

On same PC (asus p5k, IntelP4dualcore3.00Ghz), floppy unit is not discovered at install.
Well discovered by Wxp, Debian or Ubuntu8.04 on same machine without any change.

Unsing modprobe is OK.

No, there is nothing to do in the search engine, this bug has been hide
because it is a duplicate now.
