playlist is randomly reordered after a few minutes

Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

i've been building playlists of multi-cds in rythmbox. after i build each playlist, i save it. after rythmbox is running for "a while" probably > 30 minutes, the tracks in the playlists that i create are randomly (or using some unknown ordering) re-ordering my playlists. when i close and re-open rhythmbox, the playlist tracks are back to the saved order.

i have found no way to stop this behavior. i would call this a bug.

Rhythmbox 0.11.6
Ubuntu 8.04 the Hardy Heron

you can replicate the bug in the following manner:

rip a couple of cd's in mp3 format.
create a single playlist adding both cd's to the playlist in track order, ie cd1's tracks first, cd2's tracks next. save off the playlist. now start up an internet radio station. let the radio station play for "a while" (probably more then a half hour). go back to the playlist of the cd's and you'll see that the order of the playlist has changed from being in track order.

thanks,

one other thing to note, if you simply play the playlist, or even pause on one of the tracks in the playlist, rythmbox does not change the order of the list. it's only when you play something not in the playlist, for example listen to internet radio.

also, i have multiple playlists. when i listen to one of the playlists, the other playlists will be re-ordered by rhythmbox.

also, if i close and reopen rhythmbox, the playlists are back in the original order. so my work around at this point is: if i want to listen to a saved playlist, simply restart rhythmbox.
