Bug Description
for milestone 1.0 we should update all references to 0.7.3 to indicate version 1.0
as part of this, should be also consider showing the bzr revno somewhere in Help --> About to help aid bug reporting going forward?

If we can get the apport tie-in with bug 306261 then we could probably add a string with the bzr rev number.
