Inkscape does not allow certain fonts to be selected

When selecting a fonts such as "Gyneric 3D", "Binary 01s BRK", "Binary X 01s BRK", font changes to 1st in the list and remains locked there, unable to change.

Have to ctrl-z undo to before...

$ lsb_release -rd

Which font packages should i be reporting?

A pre-release of the upcoming Inkscape 0.47 is now available in Ubuntu
Karmic for testing. Because *so* much stuff has changed compared with
the version you reported your bug against, would you mind re-testing
this new version and see if this bug is now resolved?

Karmic Alpha CD ISO images are available at:

If you're not testing Karmic yet, there are .debs of this new Inkscape
for Jaunty, Hardy, and Intrepid here:

I can confirm this behaviour in karmic beta (inkscape 0.47~pre1-0ubuntu2) Those fonts all appear to be in the ttf-aenigma package. I cannot select any of the fonts you mentioned. The only difference is that my font selector does not freeze.

Actually, this bug has already been reported upstream as #212812, so I'll mark this as a duplicate. Thanks for reporting it!
